Lorne Abony is a Canadian entrepreneur, active board chairman and investor.
Lorne is a two-time public company CEO, and the youngest ever CEO of a listed company on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
Throughout his career, Lorne has raised over $1.3 billion through the public and private debt and equity markets.
As an investor, Lorne is an LP in several funds, and a private investor and early backer of companies like autonomous shipping company, Einride, lab-growh leather startup VitroLabs, AI-powered cell therapy startup, Somite, and conversational AI startup, Voxia.
Lorne holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an LL.B/J.D. from the International Law Center at the University of Windsor, as well as a B.A. from McGill University.
His achievements have been recognized with awards such as Canada's Top 40 Under 40 and the University of Windsor's Odyssey award.
Additionally, Abony is a tennis player and is a former member of the Competition Committee of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
